Career Summary
I am Emmanuel George Otieno, a multidisciplinary visual artist. For over eight years I have developed and practiced my skills across various aspects of visual design, from simple graphics to complex multimedia interfaces. With an academic background in Information Technology, my approach marries the technical with the artistic into elegant solutions that work seamlessly regardless of audience, medium, platform or language.
I have four years’ experience in eLearning and Instructional Design. As an e-learning developer and project manager, I have led teams in creating vibrant e-learning courses and customizing engaging e-learning platforms. My expertise lies in instructional design, project management, UI/UX design, and quality assurance.
Working with Subject Matter Experts and using the ADDIE approach with Agile, I have led multiple project teams in developing eLearning courses and modules with Articulate Storyline and Rise, as well as Adobe Captivate, incorporating animated videos, interactive elements and scenario-based activities, testing, learner feedback and incorporating artificial intelligence for localization of content. I have also curated coursework for clients, setting up customized learning paths and providing the appropriate course work on LMSs.
